Canine Interpreter strives to understand the needs of both you and your canine family member. For this reason all training is done in home and is personalized to the needs of both you and your pup. The main goal of Canine Interpreter is to train with love and compassion by helping you and your canine learn to communicate with one another.
Dogs speak to us through body language, and no matter if we know it or not we speak to them through our body language as well. I specialize in this silent language and I work to teach it to all of my clients to help them truly 'understand' their canine companion. This way you can not only know what your dog is trying to tell you, but also how to properly respond.Communication is the key to a peaceful household!

- Free testing/observing for registration of new handler/dog teams through Therapy Dogs Inc.
- Canine Assisted Therapy program set up
- In clinic set up/evaluation of Canine Assisted Therapy (occupational/physical/speech)
- Training for both staff and canines for goal directed therapy work
- Help in selecting/training/evaluating canines for therapy
- Canine Behavior Talks
- Presentations on both Basic and Advanced 'Canine Body Language and Behavior'
- Presentations on Dog Therapy programs and Canine Assisted Therapy programs

All training is positive reinforcement! No choke, pinch, shock or prong collars. I do use Martingale collars, also known as called 'no-slip' collars, these collars are made to keep from slipping over a dog's head. I also strongly recommend Gentle Leaders, Gentle Walkers, Halti head collars, or any of the other brands of head collar. Please visit my Policy and Price page for more information.
